Our history

From cult classic to Riders Haven

Since the Goldfinger days of 1964, the Bergidyll has carried stories in its walls – from glamour to growth to new beginnings. Today, Swannie and his team continue the spirit: a modernized Riders Haven full of heart, soul, and good vibes. No frills, just a place where people come together, share adventures, and experience Andermatt.

1964: Goldfinger & Glamour

Sean Connery logiert während der Dreharbeiten zu Goldfinger im Bergidyll – Andermatt wird zur Filmkulisse und das Hotel zur Legende.

1980 – 2000: Wandel & Wachstum

Umbauten, Anbauten, neue Ideen: Das Bergidyll wächst mit der Zeit, bleibt aber seinem Charme treu – rustikal, herzlich, echt.
